Services
BulgaLingua offers language training, interpretation, translation, and consultancy services (hereinafter referred to as “services”) to individuals and businesses in need of these services.
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using our services as a customer. By using our services, you agree to these terms.

Conditions
All offers, proposals, and services from BulgaLingua, as well as all agreements entered into by BulgaLingua, are subject to these terms and conditions. Any deviations from these terms are only valid if expressly agreed upon in writing between you and BulgaLingua.
1.1 In cases where the terms and conditions are not addressed, BulgaLingua will establish a reasonable arrangement.
1.2 The term “written” in these terms and conditions includes any form of electronic communication (e.g., email or forms or information on the website).

Agreement
The agreement is established between the customer (hereinafter referred to as “you”) who uses the service and BulgaLingua, which provides the service.
The agreement is formed by your acceptance of BulgaLingua’s offer and the confirmation of your registration by BulgaLingua via a confirmation email. No specific conditions apply for using our services. This agreement includes the service you register for.
BulgaLingua reserves the right to inquire about your creditworthiness from third parties. If the results of such a credit check are negative, BulgaLingua has the right to terminate the agreement without any liability.
The services and support provided under the agreement are personal, non-transferable, and valid for the agreed-upon service period.
For language courses specifically, BulgaLingua expects you to actively participate according to the agreed-upon schedule for the lessons.
No refunds will be issued for missed lessons unless otherwise agreed.

Offer
BulgaLingua will provide a written offer that includes the agreed-upon service:

• Start date and response time of the service;
• Deviations regarding the start date and response time of the service;
• Price offer;
• Payment terms;
• Validity period of the offer.

Cancellation
You may cancel an agreement at any time in writing under the following conditions:
1.3 The cancellation is final once you receive written confirmation from BulgaLingua.
1.4 If the number of enrollments for a particular language course is deemed insufficient by BulgaLingua, BulgaLingua is free to agree with you on a different form of the course (classroom-based, e-learning), or a different location, date, and/or time than one of your two indicated choices during registration. If no agreement is reached regarding these changes, you have the right to cancel the service or course free of charge.

Cancellation before the start of the course
Before the start of a service, you have the right to cancel the service. Cancellations must be made in writing. The planned start date of the service is used as the reference to determine the cancellation fee:
1.5 Cancellation up to two months before the start: 10% of the price;
1.6 Cancellation between two months and one month before the start: 20% of the price;
1.7 Cancellation between one month and two weeks before the start: 30% of the price;
1.8 Cancellation less than two weeks before the start: 50% of the price.
1.9 If you terminate the agreement early due to a serious illness or emergency that prevents you from continuing the course, you may request BulgaLingua in writing to adjust the fee. BulgaLingua may require proof, such as a medical certificate.
1.10 In the event of the customer’s death, the agreement is terminated immediately, and any remaining payment obligations for the course are waived.

Payment Options and Late Payment
1.11 Current service costs are available on the BulgaLingua website.
1.12 Course fees must be paid in advance.
1.13 Other service costs must be paid in accordance with the agreement.
1.14 If you fail to pay the full amount within the specified period, BulgaLingua will send you a payment reminder allowing you 15 days to settle the outstanding amount. If the full amount is not paid within this period, you will be in default without further notice.
1.15 If payment is still not made after the reminder period, BulgaLingua will charge collection fees and statutory interest in accordance with applicable legal regulations. If payment remains unpaid, BulgaLingua will hand over the claim to a collection agency.

Identification
When registering for a service, you are required to provide your correct and full name as it appears on a valid ID.

Liability of BulgaLingua
1.16 If you suffer damage, BulgaLingua’s liability is limited to compensation for direct damages only (liability for indirect damage, such as consequential damage, delay, loss of profit, or missed revenue, is excluded). Additionally, the compensation amount is limited to the agreed-upon sum.
1.17 BulgaLingua is not liable for any damage of any kind resulting from incorrect or incomplete information/recommendations/advice provided in connection with the service. This includes information/advice from teaching materials, brochures, or any other work related to a service.

Instructor/Examiner Unavailability
1.18 In the event of illness or unavailability of an instructor or examiner, BulgaLingua will make every effort to provide equivalent replacements. If this is not possible, BulgaLingua will inform students and propose an alternative date.
1.19 You are not entitled to compensation in the event of instructor or examiner illness/unavailability.

Personal Data
1.20 BulgaLingua processes all personal data in compliance with the GDPR, as outlined in BulgaLingua’s privacy policy.
1.21 You can update your personal data through “My BulgaLingua” by sending an email to info@BulgaLingua.bg.

Suspension
1.22 BulgaLingua maintains high standards for the learning environment and behavior, including respectful interaction and appropriate language use. Customers are expected to adhere to these standards.
1.23 BulgaLingua reserves the right to refuse, suspend, or remove customers for fraudulent behavior, non-compliance with social norms or online conduct rules, or aggressive behavior in any form of communication.

Intellectual Property Rights for Language Courses
1.24 All intellectual property rights, including copyrights, related to teaching materials provided by BulgaLingua (excluding commercially available books) belong to BulgaLingua. No part of these materials may be reproduced or made public without written permission from BulgaLingua.

Changes to Terms and Conditions
1.25 Unless otherwise agreed in writing, BulgaLingua may amend the terms and conditions. BulgaLingua will publish changes on the website at least two weeks before they take effect. If a change results in a material difference in the service provided, you may terminate the agreement as of the effective date of the new terms and conditions.
